Meet The Team

		Angela Gum, DDS An Ohio native, Dr. Gum grew up in the Columbus area, the oldest of three children. At a very young age, Dr. Gum knew she wanted to pursue dentistry as a career. She began her career path in high school working part-time in a dental office taking on various responsibilities learning as much about dentistry as possible. After high school, she attended Ohio Dominican University where she received her undergraduate degree in biology and attended The Ohio State University where she received her degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Prior to establishing her dental practice in the Arena District, Dr. Gum worked as an associate in a small private family practice in upstate New York and at a children's clinic in northwest Ohio. While practicing dentistry in upstate New York, Dr. Gum also was an NFL cheerleader for the Buffalo Bills.

Dr. Gum has extensive experience with endodontics and prosthodontics as well as pediatric dentistry. She has completed countless hours of courses in postgraduate dentistry and is dedicated to the newest advancements in dentistry and keeps up-to-date with the latest technology. She has more than six years of experience as a general dentist and has extensive training including the use of sophisticated digital x-ray and intra-oral imaging.

When Dr. Gum is not practicing her passion of dentistry she spends most of her time with her husband and children. She enjoys interior design, the occasional reality TV show, and is an avid Buckeye fan.

Dr. Gum is a standing member of the American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association.

		Scott Turner Scott was born and raised in Brockton, MA. After leaving the Bay State, he spent a short period of time traveling the U.S. before settling down in Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education and prior to joining Dr. Gum’s team, he taught Health and Physical Education and was a writer for a small non-profit organization. Scott continues to serve as a proud member of the United States Coast Guard Reserve,

and in 2010, was mobilized to aid in the cleanup efforts for Operation Deepwater Horizon. Scott is currently attending Franklin University where he plans to earn his Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications.

In his down time, Scott enjoys golf, skiing, watching Family Guy, and spending time with his family.

		Amanda Born in Crestview, FL, Amanda is a southern girl at heart. She is charismatic and value driven and her warm personality and caring demeanor are a reflection of her sound principles. She has a flexible sense of humor and a compassionate chair side manner making our guests feel welcome. In 2003 Amanda joined the United States Air Force where she began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant. After her basic training, Amanda found herself stationed at

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. She has experience with oral surgery, endodontic procedures, implants, IV sedation, and orthodontics. Amanda also enjoys spending time with loved ones whenever possible. When she is not working or spending time with family or friends she is busy studying psychology. She loves to read and learn as much new information as possible. Amanda believes education is a result of curiosity and looks for educational opportunities on a daily basis at every level.

Amanda also enjoys comedies, dancing, video games, and her cat Betty. She has also lived in England and Guam.
